Picture Day

Where to begin....... well last weekend the family invaded. Had 15 out of the 18 of us here Saturday night for dinner and hanging out. Played some cards, watched some t.v. and the kids played in the hot tub. I think fun was had by all. At least I had fun. Then Sunday after much curling and primping we all trucked over to College of Idaho and the 19 of us (Grandma Mary came too) took family photos. We decided since money is tight (like everyone else we know) that we would take pictures of the family and kids as Christmas gifts. So don't be surprised if they in turn pass those pictures on to all of you as Christmas gifts. I know none of you will mind since you are always asking for new pictures. Of course the pictures of all 19 of us are taking some work due to the fact that it is very difficult to get all 19 people to not blink, talk, move or look doofy all at the same time. So Steve is working his magic. But here are a few samples of the other shots. They may not be the best of the bunch and none of them has been touched up yet so......don't look at all our flaws. We are a pretty good looking group if I do say so myself...........................

Football, Football and more Football

Well the last 2 days have been consumed by FOOTBALL!!! Cory had a game Friday night against Bishop Kelly. It was 0-0 at half time. They were holding their own. Things did not go as well in the second half. We lost 0 to 21. That is okay. You played really hard (yes I have pictures to prove it!!) and that is all that counts!! (I also have pictures to show why Cory is limping around like an old man today!) We play Kuna next week and we will rock!! I am sure of it! GO EMMETT!!
While Steve was in Emmett watching Cory I was at Zack's practice. We practiced for 15 minutes then the whole team went to the Kuna vs Columbia game. At half time they called all the optimist teams out onto the fields one by one. It was great fun!! Unfortunately Kuna lost 0 to 21.
This morning we woke to rain, thunder and lightening. We assumed Zack's game would be cancelled but we showed up anyway. Oh no!! We in Kuna are tough!! We started late and it was pouring down rain and windy as all get out but we played!! The boys did so great! Such troopers!! We scored a touchdown (way to go Nathan!) and Zack got to be a running back!! He did so great! We are so proud of him! He was only out of the game for 2 plays!!
So after our exciting morning in the rain we came home and took hot showers to warm up, we put on dry clothes and went out into the sun (yes that is right an hour and a half after we played the sun came out and it was too warm to wear a jacket!! Ugh!) and went to our friend Jonathon's football game in Nampa. We were very sad because the wimpy Boise team he was supposed to play never showed up. We will just have to go another time. Anyway we rushed to the grocery store and then home to watch the BSU game. Oh what a game we saw!! Go Broncos!! (they won 37 to 32 in case you didn't know!!)
Football Football Football Football Football Football..............................................................

Let me catch you up.....

So let me tell you what has been going on lately. Jamie has started college. She is all moved into the dorms and is also still working. Cory is a junior and is playing football. He is almost always on the field and he is a lot of fun to watch. Zack is in second grade now and he is also playing football. He is having a lot of fun and playing his heart out. Steve and I are busy as usual trying to work and keep up with the kids. We both know we will miss it when it is gone so we try to embrace it now. Steve just had a birthday yesterday. We went to Zack's football game, out to lunch and then went to the BSU game. We had a nice day together. No excitement but he is getting older now so....... Well you are now caught up on us. I will include some pictures of the boys.

Here We Go

Everyone (one in particular) has been telling me I need a blog. Well here it is!! Don't get me wrong it is a great idea I have just been putting it off. It will be nice to only have to type things once and everyone can see. Also, everyone can see my husband's amazing photos to go with our events. Hope you all enjoy!!
